Import Executive - Merak

Role Synopsis
  • Responsible for day to day managing of Import and (Export) activities within the organization as well as managing relationships with Import/Export suppliers, Liner, custom broker and authorities within his/her area of responsibilities.
  • The jobholder is ensure to the compliance to regulation in performing his/her task and able to resolve dispute along the process of import/export and, where possible, determine and implement process to prevent recurrence
Key Accountabilities
  • Manage import and export activities in such a way that all deadlines can be met with effective and efficient way.
  • Ensure compliance with COC policies, custom and tax procedures in performing all import and export activities conducted for the organization
  • Build professional and ethical relationships within internal organization and external entities in the industry including with customs
  • Assist procurement with preparation of import document for first shipment transactions. Assemble details (document requirements, routing instructions, tariff codes, etc.) for first shipment and furnish to vendors. Review final documents.
  • Monitor shipments and Customs clearance. Communicate status, delays to appropriate parties. Resolve shipment issues, and possess the ability to determine when to elevate to management for resolution.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of custom broker performance and import/export activities and direct other business and program activities that impact import/export compliance
Essential Education
  • Bachelor Degrees in Management or Law
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years of directly related experience in import/export operation
  • Familiarity with import/export procedures for similar industries which hold API-P license.
Other Requirements
  • Previous experience working with Customs brokers or international freight forwarding preferred
  • Possess profession as custom broker from custom authorities (PPJK certification) will be advantage

Harbour and Marine Engineer - Jakarta

Role Synopsis
  • Consistent with Group policies, Functional Standards and Expected Behaviors, the Harbour & Marine Engineer is responsible for providing expert marine advice to the project team & their Third Party Consultants.
  • The role is accountable for the controlled application of the Marine Group Defined & Recommended Practices across the Tangguh Expansion Project.
  • For the detailed design phase the Harbour & Marine Engineer will be based in Jakarta, & will be required to travel to Tangguh site (West Papua) & outside Indonesia.
  • For the construction phase the Harbour &Marine Engineer will be based, on rotation, at Tangguh site (West Papua).
Key Accountabilities
  • Provide technical input & act as marine focal point across all Project disciplines, Civil, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Instrumentation & Control
  • Ensure that systematic identification processes are in place for identifying and managing Project marine risks
  • Develop Marine Assurance & Risk Action Plans (RAP’s) in accordance with Group Defined Standards
  • Participate in Vessel Owner Assessment process; monitor & track action close-out
  • Oversee Marine Assurance & Construction Vessel Verification Process and co-ordinate with Central GPO Vessel Verification Team
  • Represent TEP at external Stakeholder & Regulatory meetings (including SK Migas)
  • Conduct vessel inspections & verification audits in compliance Group Standards & best industry practice (IMCA, OVID)
  • Manage Group Vessel database (iMAS) for TEP vessels
  • Participate in tender technical evaluation, selection & start-up of Marine Contractors mobilizing to Tangguh site; provide feed-back to bidders (as required)
  • Manage TEP / Tangguh Operations marine interface; conduct regular site visits; ensure consensus & compliance with Group Standards & Local Operating Procedures
  • Conduct marine operational & HSSE audits of Marine Contractors at site
Essential Education
  • Engineering degree or Deck officer Class 1 Certificate(s) of Competency
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
  • Sailed in a senior rank afloat
  • Proven ability in leading vessel audit, inspection & verification activities -thoroughly conversant with relevant legislation, guidelines and codes as applicable to vessel operations.
  • Operational Management experience, preferably in the offshore oil & gas industry
  • Full understanding of the risks and controls involved in vessel operations, terminal and tanker operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of pilotage and towage issues.
  • Experience of dynamic and static measurement of oil quantities, oil stocks and shipping documentation
  • English (fluent)
Desirable Criteria & Qualifications
  • Accredited vessel inspector (e.g. SIRE, IMCA, OVID)
  • Experience on major offshore Projects with high levels of marine activity
  • Sound technical knowledge of marine vessel structures and systems
  • Membership of professional body
