Mengevaluasi spesifikasi tongkang atau kapal yang dinominasikan oleh customer untuk memastikan tongkang atau kapal tersebut sesuai dengan standard atau kontrak.
Menganalisa, merencanakan dan memonitor pengalokasian tongkang dengan tujuan Taboneo, IBT, dan customer domestik, kemudian mengkoordinasikan rencana tersebut agar dapat dilaksanakan sehingga kebutuhan batubara tercapai sesuai dengan target, kualitas (ash), spesifikasi serta meminimalkan demurrage cost.
Menganalisa penyebab keterlambatan pemuatan batubara ke tongkang (delay for loading, barges at Kelanis) dan di pelabuhan bongkar customer untuk penjualan batubara berdasarkan CIF sehingga keterlambatan pemuatan batubara dapat diminimalkan di kemudian hari.
Memonitor dan berkoordinasi dengan pihka-pihak terkait terhadap kinerja tongkang-tongkang pada saat pembongkaran di pelabuhan bongkar agar target perputaran tongkang dapat tercapai dan waktu tunggu kapal untuk dimuat tercapai sesuai target.
